After what's been an amazing year for Shine at The Warehouse, it's with great pleasure they proudly announce their 2014 return presenting Shine Easter Special with an impressive line up featuring Radio 1 DJ legend, the one and only Danny Rampling!! The Bank Holiday show is set to take place on Saturday 19th April at Shine's spiritual home, The Warehouse Leeds.

During an holiday in Ibiza, Danny Rampling along with fellow DJ's Paul Oakenfold and Nicky Holloway, attended an open air nightclub, Amnesia where the group were introduced to the unique eclectic style of DJ Alfredo, playing, among other genres, the new house music sound exported in from the USA.

Upon his UK return, Rampling, recreated the Ibizan experience by promoting what is regarded as the UK's first Balearic rave club, Shoom based in Southwalk London and was also the launching point for acid house culture worldwide and of course the notorious smiley face craze.

His contributions to the UK and global dance scene include broadcasting on Kiss FM and for 7 years he provided the public with a unique style on BBC Radio 1 presenting the 'Lovegroove Dance Party' until 2002, becoming the second longest running dance music show in Radio after Pete Tong's 'Essential Selection'.

Rampling continued carving his music career as a DJ and producer remixing many international acts alongside forming a band, The Millionaire Hippies and recently wrote what's considered to be an international DJ bible, amongst many other accolades.

Along with Danny Rampling in the main room Shine present a superb line up of house legends in their own right and needing no introduction for presenting another international iconic DJ, such as Jeremy Healy billed alongside other fantastic DJ's, including Brandon BlockJon Pleased Wimmin and Luvdup all showcasing skills to the ever fateful Shine crowd.

Local guest and DJ legend from Up Yer Ronson and Cream, invited to perform in the main room on the Easter Special bill will be Leeds' very own Marshall purposely out of retirement just for Shine's 2014 return.

While Room Two commonly known as 'The Loft', another brilliant line up is set for complementing the night's unfoldings including the presentation of the new Shine resident DJ's, Up Yer Ronson's Paul Murray & Mark Holliday from Kaos, alongside the longstanding Garry Dabill, coming up to his second full year DJing for Shine.

All this of course will be going off under one roof, The Warehouse, situated near Leeds train station and with the perfect DJ line up, guaranteed euphoria comes from the combination of brilliant music penetrating the room through an excellent recently fit Funktion One soundsystem, lifting you off your feet then matched by a top of the range set of lasers, lighting, strobes and smoke jets, accompanying quality visuals, displayed onto backdrop projector screens, giving you nothing less than an electrifying atmospheric show.
